Hi beautiful people!
I am so sorry I have neglected posting up new posts recently; I got a job (woohoo) and I’m still trying to organise my time around work, house stuff and blogging. I took the photos for this post a while ago but never had the time to post it. So I’m very happy to finally be sharing these tips with you! Continue reading
Are you the type of girl who sleeps with makeup on when your boyfriend’s around? Do you wake up early to rush to the bathroom to freshen up before he gets up? Or have you ever put a full face of makeup on because he’s coming round to drop something off? Continue reading
I discovered House of Lashes after seeing some of my favourite makeup artists using them on Instagram and what can I say- they did not disappoint. Pixie Luxe is part of their premium collection. I love this collection, I’ve tried Noir Fairy which is fab too and their new Starlet lashes are on my wishlist. All their lashes from their premium collection are layered which is great. They look so luxurious and when you compare them to your standard drugstore lashes you really appreciate their quality. Continue reading
Recently, I stopped by Makeup Savvy’s blog post on her First World Beauty Problems. Inspired, I thought it would be fun to write a list of my First world beauty problems. So here goes… Continue reading
Don’t you hate when you only get one use out of a pair of lashes? It’s annoying, the packaging says they’re reusable, but, they look hideous on when the old glue creates a barrier between your lash line and your false lashes. Well I’ve enlisted the help from my Makeup Artist friend to guide us through how to clean your lashes without them falling apart in the process… Continue reading
Last week I popped to the shops to buy a couple nail polishes, when I got a liiittle carried away and ended up buying like 14 =/ (please don’t tell my husband). So, with all these nail polishes, I decided to get the girls round to practice our nail art. Admittedly, we’re not that great at it, more admittedly, I’m the worst- but it was still fun little experience. Continue reading
A couple months ago I decided to invest in a new set of makeup brushes. After much deliberation, I decided to go with E.L.F brushes because they are very affordable and I had read good reviews on them online. I bought their Studio 11 Piece Brush collection, a Studio Stipple Brush and Studio Kabuki Brush.
On the whole all the brushes were very soft and do not shed, which is great! Also they wash easily and dry quickly so I’m pretty impressed with them. Saying this, there are certain brushes I’m not too fond of, so I thought I’d quickly review each brush separately.
Being a bit of a product junkie, I’ve picked up some tricks that every girl should know to help save money on the high street. These purse friendly tips could help you save a little extra every month.
We can’t always splurge on high end makeup/beauty products (even if we’d really want to), but that doesn’t mean we should compromise on quality girls. I’ve picked out some of my favourite beauty products that don’t break that bank, but are still just as impressive.
So this is my first pictorial, it’s a handy trick I’ve learned to mattify lipstick. It also helps your lipstick last longer which is great!
