How To Clean Your False Lashes Like a Pro!

How to clean your false lashes Don’t you hate when you only get one use out of a pair of lashes? It’s annoying, the packaging says they’re reusable, but, they look hideous on when the old glue creates a barrier between your lash line and your false lashes. Well I’ve enlisted the help from my Makeup Artist friend to guide us through how to clean your lashes without them falling apart in the process…

What you’ll need is…
A small bowl of water mixed with a few drops of shampoo
A couple tissues
And tweezers

First off, drop your false lashes into the bowl of soapy water and let it sit for a couple seconds. Then, use your thumb and index finger to rub off any mascara from the lashes and shape your lashes in the process.

Then dry off your lashes by placing them in between two tissues and press down. Next, use your tweezers to pull off any glue. Be gentle and be sure not to pull of any of the lash rim.

Once you have finished cleaning your lashes, place them back in its packaging to keep it’s shape, and voila! Your lashes and are ready for you to use again 🙂

It’s a simple method that only takes a couple minutes.  You may need to practice a couple times before  you perfect the technique, but it’s a great trick to know to help you get a couple more uses out of your fake lashes.

What do you think? How do you clean your lashes?
