This is my second instalment of braid inspired hairstyles (first one being the fishtail braid). This hairdo can be styled to be casual or formal and it’s so easy that everyone should have a crack at it, to mix up the classic bun. Continue reading
This is a quick review following on from yesterday’s post on my Girly Night In.
So I recently bought 2 of the new Matte Nail Paints by Barry M. There are 12 colours in their Matte collection- 6 of them being bright summer colours. I purchased Malibu Blue and Miami Pink and I really like them for several reasons: Continue reading
Last week I popped to the shops to buy a couple nail polishes, when I got a liiittle carried away and ended up buying like 14 =/ (please don’t tell my husband). So, with all these nail polishes, I decided to get the girls round to practice our nail art. Admittedly, we’re not that great at it, more admittedly, I’m the worst- but it was still fun little experience. Continue reading
If you haven’t purchased some pure/virgin coconut oil yet,
where have you been? I mean, you should try pick some up from your local store, asap!
Coconut Oil has such a wide range of uses and it can benefit your body inside and out. It can be used on its own as a hair conditioner, lip balm or body moisturiser.
But one Mask I like to make with Coconut oil is a Brightening Mask.
A couple months ago I decided to invest in a new set of makeup brushes. After much deliberation, I decided to go with E.L.F brushes because they are very affordable and I had read good reviews on them online. I bought their Studio 11 Piece Brush collection, a Studio Stipple Brush and Studio Kabuki Brush.
On the whole all the brushes were very soft and do not shed, which is great! Also they wash easily and dry quickly so I’m pretty impressed with them. Saying this, there are certain brushes I’m not too fond of, so I thought I’d quickly review each brush separately.
Being a bit of a product junkie, I’ve picked up some tricks that every girl should know to help save money on the high street. These purse friendly tips could help you save a little extra every month.
We can’t always splurge on high end makeup/beauty products (even if we’d really want to), but that doesn’t mean we should compromise on quality girls. I’ve picked out some of my favourite beauty products that don’t break that bank, but are still just as impressive.
This summer I’ve got a little obsessed with learning new braid techniques and the different updo’s I can do with them. So I figured why don’t I share the techniques I’ve learned with you guys.
I’ve tried A LOT of creams over the years, but nothing comes close to the Crabtree & Evelyn collection. I’ve tried the Ultra – Moisturising Hand Therapy Cream and the Skin Quenching Body Lotion and it’s Ah-May-Zing.
So this is my first pictorial, it’s a handy trick I’ve learned to mattify lipstick. It also helps your lipstick last longer which is great!
